Everyone has a favorite ring, whether it is because of the stone being a birthstone, because of the high value, or because it has significant sentimental value. I think it is safe to say that Mary-Kate’s favorite ring is this huge emerald and yellow gold ring. She wears it quite often, no matter if the occasion is formal or not. Mary-Kate found the ring at a vintage shop on the Rue Saint Honore in Paris, France. One of the best parts about traveling is treasure hunting in antique shops, however if you are not lucky enough to do so, the Internet has so much to offer. Best resource for pieces that look like they are family heirlooms: Beladora. Want your own emerald stunner? Check out the ones I found below!
I love this choice because it is so similar. The green stone is actually jadeite rather than an emerald, it is circa 1970. The textured 18k yellow gold characterizes the seventies style of this ring. From Beladora2 and priced at $995.
Circa 1975, Beladora shows off this beautiful step cut emerald ring. This one is similar to Mary-Kate’s because of its grandness–that emerald looks so regal. Not only is the stone 4 carats, but the diamonds surrounding it are .60 carats. It is set in 18k yellow gold and priced at $5550, from Beladora.
This vintage ring from the ’60s features an emerald cut emerald. The emerald itself is 1.35 carats! It is set in 14k yellow gold with a few diamonds. This one-of-a-kind piece is from Ross-Simons Estate Collection and priced at $1195.

Never too much of a good thing–this applies even more so to HOORSENBUHS’ sleek Phantom ring, as I have been seeing it around fingers in multiples. This is somewhere along the lines of stacking rings, however the idea of wearing the same ring on several fingers is impeccably brilliant. Speaking of, Mary-Kate Olsen is seen here doing exactly so with her HOORSENBUHS Phantom rings. I like how she uses one that features black diamonds and another which is all 18k yellow gold (no diamonds).

Something that always interests me is jewelry combinations and how each individual puts together their jewelry for the day. Ashley Olsen never ceases to amaze and always comes up with some great mixtures. From what can be seen, she is wearing her Cartier watch, a large black stone ring, and possibly a crowned diamond heart ring. Not sure what the other rings are! Take a look at some similar choices if you are wanting to achieve this same jeweled look.
A crowned heart is a known symbol of love and loyalty. This one is priced at $5500 from Fay Cullen. It is a 1 carat heart shaped diamond set in platinum. A definite necessity in anyone’s ring collection.
Although Ashley’s black stone ring is larger and pear-shaped, this one still gives a similar effect. Designed by Pippa Small, the black stone is actually a Labradorite. I think Ashley’s ring is an onyx. The Labradorite is set in 22k yellow gold, found on TWIST for $1685.
This is the exact watch Ashley has and was featured in her book Influence. Found the match at AuthenticWatches.com, not sure how reputable this company is, although they have high ratings under Bizrate. It is called the Cartier Pasha Seatimer Men’s Steel Watch and sells for $4975 on their website.

If I could have anyone’s jewelry collection it would definitely be Mary-Kate and/or Ashley Olsen’s. Everytime they are photographed, the jewelry that they wear is ecclectic and bold, and almost always vintage. Sure there are other celebrities out there that have to die for diamond rings–with monsterous center stones worth millions. But that doesn’t lure me. I like the uniqueness of the Olsen’s jewelry choices. Each seems as though it has an enchanting story behind it from years passed. These vintage rings, all from Israel Rose, seem as though they all belong on Mary-Kate or Ashley’s finger. Enjoy!
This sapphire and diamond ring is set in platinum, dating back to the Art Deco Era. The diamonds are great because they are Old Mine cut, which you don’t see anymore. The sapphires are French cut. Price: $925
From the Victorian Era comes this 18k yellow gold serpant ring. The Olsens have been seen wearing several snake rings. This one has 3/4 carats of sapphire. Price: $650
Now from the Edwardian time period, this sapphire and diamond ring is done in 18k yellow gold and platinum. The center sapphire is a Cushion cut. Very elegant and dainty. Price: $425

Mary-Kate spices up a solid black dress by adding some bold jewelry. The ring definitely catches your eye and a closer look reveals that it is actually turquoise. The ring is a round, cabochon cut with stones circling around the perimeter–looks as though the stones are diamonds. Ross-Simons Estate Collection has a very similar ring, seen below. Circa 2000, this ring is only 9 years old. The turquoise is surrounded by .75 carats and set in 18k white gold. Priced at $1836–Mary-Kate’s is most likely more!

Navette style rings consist of any rings that are boat-shaped. This sort of style tends to elongate the finger and has a definite feminine side. Often popularized during the Victorian Era, however you can find brand new navette rings today. This shows how timeless the look is and it is here to stay! Finding vintage navette rings is fun and a collection isn’t complete without a good one. Check out my favorites below!
From the Victorian Era, with a Belgian origin, this ring has diamonds with a single rose cut sapphire in the middle. A true definition of navette style ring. It is set in 18k rose gold and is priced at $1620. It can be found at Adin.
A more modern approach to the navette style ring is this one. It is still considered vintage since it is circa 1980. It is set in 18k gold with diamonds and sapphires. This one goes for $1420 at Ross-Simons.
This ring can be found on eBay right now, from seller: Ashland_Investments. The auction ends November 30, so there is still time! You can buy it now for $910 or make an offer! The ring features 29 diamonds set in 18k gold. Take a look on eBay by looking up the seller or typing in ‘navette’ into the search bar, and narrowing the criteria down by clicking on vintage jewelry as the category.

Have you picked up your copy of Influence yet? The pictures and details about their vintage jewelry was the highlight of the read. I think the twins should come out with a book which catalogs all their jewelry, with photos of each piece accompanied by a quick blurb. Mary-Kate and Ashley have the best jewelry collection possible.
The emerald ring seen here in the photo was featured in Influence. Mary-Kate found the ring at a vintage shop on the Rue Saint Honore in Paris, France. Both girls are lucky enough to have traveled the world, which has allowed them to come across some great vintage jewelry. It is always interesting to keep an eye out to what their latest acquired treasure is–since the paparazzi can’t get enough of both.
I think this estate necklace from Ross-Simons would be a great match to the vintage emerald ring. The bib necklace has an Etruscan style with a cabochon emerald that is almost a full carat. There are diamonds framing the emerald, all set in 14k yellow gold. Priced around $3000.
