Hilary Duff for Pantera Jewelry

Hilary Duff’s recent Maxim photo shoot included this unique ring designed by Pantera Jewelry.  It features two rings connected by a chain, each having different charms to choose from which dangles on one end.  Pantera Jewelery is inspired by the black panther, the designer’s favorite animal.  Many of her pieces are loved by celebrities,  like Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and Jordin Sparks.  Check out Pantera’s website for more information!  Although you currently cannot order directly, Lisa Klein has a good selection to purchase from.

MK & Ashley’s Jewelry Influence

Have you picked up your copy of Influence yet?  The pictures and details about their vintage jewelry was the highlight of the read.  I think the twins should come out with a book which catalogs all their jewelry, with photos of each piece accompanied by a quick blurb.  Mary-Kate and Ashley have the best jewelry collection possible. 

The emerald ring seen here in the photo was featured in Influence.   Mary-Kate found the ring at a vintage shop on the Rue Saint Honore in Paris, France.  Both girls are lucky enough to have traveled the world, which has allowed them to come across some great vintage jewelry.  It is always interesting to keep an eye out to what their latest acquired treasure is–since the paparazzi can’t get enough of both. 

 

I think this estate necklace from Ross-Simons would be a great match to the vintage emerald ring.  The bib necklace has an Etruscan style with a cabochon emerald that is almost a full carat.  There are diamonds framing the emerald, all set in 14k yellow gold.  Priced around $3000.

Spotted: Bow Necklace on 90210

Last week’s episode of 90210 had Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes) wearing an elegant bow necklace featuring diamonds. Although you can’t really see the necklace in the above picture, it went really well with the plaid button-up she was wearing. 90210 continues to showcase the latest trends in fashion and jewelry…so keep watching and spotting those trends you love! This one is vintage and flaunts 1.3 carats of diamonds. Done up in 14k yellow gold with a 16 inch integrated chain. From the Victorian Era, when bows were very popular to be featured in jewelry, especially necklaces. You can find it on Fay Cullen for $1200.

If you are looking for a brand new bow necklace rather than vintage, try this one! It is from Ross-Simons and is 18k white gold. The diamond weight on this piece is .20, so a big difference compared to the first. The price is $428 and the necklace can extend from 18 inches to 20 inches.

Another brand new bow necklace from Ross-Simons is this one, and it is two times the glitter. Not only does it have two extra tiny bows besides the main bow, it has two chains instead of one! Definitely more fancy and bold than the other bow necklaces above. Diamond weight is .45 and the pricetag is around $876.

Sparkle like Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz shined at a recent event…look at her beautiful jewelry choices! I love how she wore two very large rings on one finger. It is unexpected and shows what a trendsetter she is. I’ve scoped out the most similar jewelry lookalikes so that even you can shine like Cameron. Check them out!

We will start with the gorgeous, large gold flower ring. The one Cameron is wearing resembles a Hawaiian Hibiscus flower, like the one above. And since we all know she loves Hawaii and surfing, it may very well be! This ring is 14k yellow gold and is $269, from Hawaii City–which specializes in Hawaiian jewelry.

The second ring on Cameron’s finger is a large, yellow gold ring with a white stone. I am thinking the stone is mother-of-pearl. I found this button pearl ring by Gabrielle Sanchez–button pearls are flatter than a normal pearl. This one is done in 18k yellow gold and is $1100. It can be purchased at Joseph’s boutique.

A diamond encrusted horseshoe necklace is great for any occasion, and Cameron’s finishes off her jewelry ensemble. The one above is from Heavenly Treasures and is .36 carats. This particular one is great because you can choose 16 inch, 18 inch, or 20 inch chain, as well as white or yellow gold. Prices range from $698-745.

Spotted: Hilary Duff’s ‘Gladiator-Inspired’ Bib Necklace

We were first introduced to Hilary Duff’s gorgeous golden bib necklace during Cartier’s Love Charity Bracelet launch party, back in June.  She has been seen wearing it out to dinner with boyfriend Mike Comrie since then, everytime looking great.  This type of necklace is so chic, it could be worn to a red carpet event or even to dinner, as Hilary Duff has.  I wanted to find some similar ones so that anyone else who loves this look, as I do, can wear almost an identical necklace.

This necklace is of the Victorian era, most likely Europe. It is 18k gold and has an intricate scallop design. It can be purchased at Adin for $1142.

The design on this bib necklace is most similar to Hilary Duff’s. The pointy look is so delicate, yet so fierce. A combination of white and yellow gold is used in this particular necklace. This necklace is also from Adin, for $1140.

And the last necklace I found is very bold, has more gold weight and more expensive. Sure is stunning though! The scallop design has half sun/flower shapes from the Art Deco era. Also from Adin and priced at $1477.

Lindsay Lohan’s “Engagement” Ring

Putting all the rumors and trash talk aside, Lindsay Lohan has been sporting quite a beautiful ring. And oddly enough, which finger does she choose to wear it on? Yes, her ring finger! And of all shapes and sizes it could possibly be, it is, but of course, a diamond pave heart. While gossip bloggers are speculating its an engagement ring from Samantha Ronson, others are saying that Lindsay herself bought it just because. I guess only time will tell.

Below are some similar heart pieces of jewelry, in case you want to emmulate the fashionista herself. I found a gorgeous ring, pin, and pendant which all have that pave diamond look.

Such a cute little pave diamond pin! This little pin packs a mean carat weight in diamonds–5 carats! It would look great pinned to a trendy scarf. There are 79 old mine-cut diamonds in this platinum and gold vintage pin, from the late 19th century. Comes with a hefty pricetag of $17,750 something Lindsay could afford, right? It would go great with her ring!

Miley’s Sweet Sixteen: My Proposed Gift List

Sweet Sixteens only come, well, once in a lifetime–so you better make your wish list count!  Miley Cyrus’ sweet sixteen will soon be upon us (November 23), and the whole world will be watching.  Let’s hope she is more grateful than those bratty girls on MTv’s Sweet Sixteen tv show.  And it seems that may be so…

Miley’s birthday party will be held at DisneyLand, where she will have the whole place to herself and her birthday “guests.”  Anyone who purchases a $250 ticket will be an official partygoer.  So not only is she sharing her fun-filled day with complete strangers, but all of the proceeds will benefit a charity.  Seems like Miley has a good-heart and is not a greedy birthday girl. 

But, of course anyone who is anyone needs at least one present on his or her birthday.  So I’ve devised my own list of potential birthday presents.  Some sort of jewelry item has got to be on her wish list!  Maybe she will choose one of these great finds!  Enjoy!

I think this vintage diamond bangle would really add some elegance and edge to what she normally wears.
